EXCLUSIVE EXCLUSIVE

Well, the first couple that went through our home at 742 Corwin made an offer--full asking price! We approved the offer today but asked to extend the time to closing and possession by several days. While we are delighted that someone wants our lovely home that much, we are concerned about getting everything ready at the condo. We are hoping to have until June 1. While all the arrangements seem in place, we do have to undergo an inspection. We have always been uncomfortable with the thought--the house is 65 years old and nearly all the maintenance over the past 40 years has been done by me. So wish us luck with this.

  1. Yay! I knew you would sell the house quickly. We will all have great memories of that house and everything that happened in it, but ultimately it's the wonderful parents inside that made it a home for all of us. Congratulations on getting full price; you earned it.

  2. Everything seeems to be falling into place, and I trust that the condo will be ready and welcoming when it needs to be. It's so much to happen so swiftly, and my thoughts are with you all as you make the transition. Big things indeed! Love-

  3. How wonderful! I'm sure you both had worries about how long the house would be on the market in this down market but things have a way of working out. We'll keep our fingers crossed for the inspection but I'm sure your repairs, over the yeas, equal or most likely, exceed, what any paid contractor could have done.

  5. Why does this not surprise us??? It's a wonderful house which has been well maintained over the years by a very handy guy. We don't think you should worry too much about the inspection. ALL houses have issues but your house has fewer than most.

As Andy said, there are so many wonderful memories associated with that house and the wonderful people who occupied it. So now the condo memories will begin!

We are so happy for you that this part of the "New Adventure" seems to be falling nicely into place.

    LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!
